Laboratory Polarizing Microscopes RPL-1
The Polarized Light Microscope is a principal piece of equipment used to observe the optical properties of minerals and study of crystals with birefringence properties. Our microscopes have indispensable applications for Petrography, Crystallography and Geology in University Laboratories and in other environments where a reliable practical polarizing microscope is required for teaching purposes.
Stage:- Compact ball-bearing rotating stage, 140mm diameter, graduated with vernier, lock and stage specimen clips. Focussing:- Separate knobs are provided for coarse and fine focussing adjustments.
Illuminator:- Plano-concave mirror diameter 50mm mounted on gimble mount, interchangeable with sub-stage 15W lamp for 220V or 110V.
Intermediate Tube:- Built-in slide out analyzer, λ-Gypsum Plate, λ/4-Mica Plate and focussable Bertrand Lens. All slides are locked into the tube and can be inserted in the optical path as per requirement.
Compensator:- λ-Gypsum Plate (1st order red compensating plate, 560 nanometers) and λ/4-Mica Plate (145 nanometers).
Objectives:- Achromatic, Semi-plan Objectives P-4x, P-10x and P-40x SL. Eyepieces:- Widefield Eyepiece WF-10x and WF-10x with Cross.
Polarizer:- Fully Rotatable Polarizer on strain free abbe-condenser N.A. 1.25 with iris-diaphragm.
Optional Accessories:- Detachable Mechanical Stage, Sub-stage Halogen Illuminator, Micrometer Eyepiece, Spare Bulbs, Additional Compensators, Wooden Storing Cabinet, etc.
Advanced Polarizing Microscope RPL-3 Series
Polarizing microscopes are principal piece of equipment used by the geologists to observe the optical properties of minerals. In has indispensable applications for petrography, crystallography.geology or finding stress points in metal,glass and textiles, etc. It permits orthoscopically to examine and identifify the structures of material with highly resolved distinctive images under various magnifications.
Stage:- Compact ball-bearing centerable rotating stage, 140mm. diameter, graduated with vernier, lock and stage specimen clips.
Focussing:- By vertical movement of stage, coarse adjustment by rackpinion knobs and fine movement by screw-lever mechanism driven by screw-lever mechanism driven by graduated knobs.
Illuminator:- Koehler's illuminator with pre-centred 20W tungsten halogen source and integral electric transformer with intensity control is concealed inside the base. Input voltage 220 or 110 Volts.
Intermediate Tube:- Built-in focussable Bertrand lens with center adjustable. Built-in analyzer removable from optical path. Analyzer can be rotated 90° with a vernier reading to 6'. Compensator λ and λ/4 can be inserted in the tube as per requirement.

Research Polarizing Microscope RPL-55 Series
Research Polarizing Microscope are principal piece of equipment used by the Geologists to observe the optical properties of minerals. It has indispensable applications for petrography, crystallography, geology, mineralogy, ceramics, toxicology, chemical microscopy or detecting defects in semi-conductors, finding stress points in metals, glass and textiles etc.
Stage:- Compact Ball bearing Rotating Stage, 140mm dia., graduation with vernier, lock and stage specimen clips.
Focusing:- Coaxial focusing is provided with coarse tension adjustment ring and graduated slow motion knobs. Adjustable safety lock is attached to prevent the breakage of specimen slides.
Illuminator:- Koehler's Illuminator with pre-centered 20W Tungsten Halogen source and integral electric transformer with intensity control. Input Voltage 220 or 110V.
Intermediate Tube:- Built-in focusable Bertrand Lens with center adjustment. Built-in Analyzer removable from optical part. Analyzer can be rotated 90º with vernier reading to 6'. Compensator 1 Lambda, 1/4 Lambda and Quartz Wedge can be inserted in the tube as per requirement.
